Day 1: Departure from Washington DC to Addis Ababa. Dinner and breakfast are included.

Day 2: Victoria (Mahe) - Take a short flight to Victoria, Seychelles Island. Upon arrival, clear customs and meet with a representative who will transfer you to the Bliss Hotel.

Day 3: Beau Vallon Bay/Seychelles Island Cruise - Late morning transfer to the airport and board your aircraft for a 20 minute flight to the island of Praslin to embark luxury catamaran, Pegasus (Variety Cruises).

Day 4: La Digue - St. Anne Island/Seychelles Island Cruise - Felicite or Coco Islands (depending on sea conditions), all uninhabited and offering great snorkeling in crystal clear waters. After lunch, arrive in La Digue, a quiet island community: no cars, just bicycles and oxcarts. Overnight on the Pegasus at anchor in front of the La Digue port.

Day 5: Moyenne Island/Mahe/Seychelles Island Cruise - Sail back towards Mahe and Moyenne Island. There will be time for snorkeling and swimming before leaving Moyenne to reach Eden Marina for the Captain's Farewell Dinner. Overnight on the Pegasus at the Marina.

Day 6: Victoria (Mahe) - Disembarkation at 9:00AM. Half day tour on the island of Mahe. Commence with a tour of the capital city of Victoria before driving the spectacular Sans Souci road to the historical mission lodge to view the ruins of the school for the children of freed slaves. Continue to the Spice Gardens - this working plantation grows a splendid variety of spice plants and tropical fruit trees. Check-in at the Bliss Hotel overlooking the Indian Ocean. Enjoy the balance of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 7: Nairobi, Kenya - Late this morning, board your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Upon early afternoon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Eka Hotel. Enjoy the balance of the afternoon and evening at your leisure. Overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Day 8: Samburu Game Reserve - Drive north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Check-in at the Samburu Game Lodge set in a rugged landscape with a backdrop of jagged mountains. The lodge is situated on the banks of Uaso Nyiro River. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a game drive for up-close views of hippos, crocodiles, and small herd of elephants. Lion, leopard, and cheetah are also quite easy to spot, thanks in part to the lack of grass cover. After dinner, visit the Crocodile Bar for the nightly feeding and enjoy the traditional dances of the Samburu warrior. Overnight at the Samburu Game Lodge.

Day 9: Samburu Game Reserve - Enjoy a morning game drive and be on the lookout for unique animals only viewed in the northern arid part of Kenya. These would include the reticulated giraffe and blue shanked Somali ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch, enjoy the facilities and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive until sunset. Overnight at the Samburu Game Lodge.

Day 10: Aberdare National Park - Drive south and into the forest of Aberdare Mountain Range arriving in Outspan for lunch. A short drive takes you to the Treetops Lodge, with its legendary royal connection for it was here that Queen Elizabeth had learnt of the passing of her father. The Lodge rises dramatically out of the ground on stilts and overlooks a water hole and salt lick. With a rooftop-viewing platform, it is not necessary for a game drive. After dinner continue to view the array of animals around the floodlit waterhole. Overnight at the Treetops Lodge.

Day 11: Lake Nakuru - Travel northwest to Nyahururu, still know as Thomson's Fall for its 237-foot cascade waterfall. Then head south to Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive into the most densely populated wetlands of Kenya. With a large population of flamingoes be on the lookout for both the black and white rhino. The Rothschild giraffe is another highlight as well as a fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra and lion. Enjoy dinner and evening entertainment at the lodge. Overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 12: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Transfer this morning and arrive for lunch at Keekorok Lodge at the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This afternoon, enjoy a game drive into one of the largest and most well known wildlife reserves in Africa. It has an abundance of the "Big Five" wildlife. Perhaps before dinner, walk out front of the lodge and walk the 350-yard elevated walkway the meanders through a small forest to a small bar. This overlooks a darn where resident hippo and other game are regularly viewed. Overnight at the Keekorok Lodge.

Day 13: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Witness the wildlife animals again in the incredible Masai Mara Reserve. The lions, antelopes, elephants, and zebras are bound to entertain you. After your morning game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and late this afternoon continue on another game drive before returning to the hotel before sunset. Overnight at the Keekorok Lodge.

Day 14: Return to Nairobi and depart for Washington DC - Drive across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment. You will arrive into Nairobi early afternoon for your flight to Addis Ababa to connect with your overnight flight.

Day 15: USA - Arrive in Dulles.
